Seeking Support for “One House” installation exhibition by 200 artists.

Touchstone Foundation for the Arts DC (TFA) (a 501(c)(3) organization) is raising money to support “One House,” an installation exhibition created by approximately 200 artists to be on display and open to the public at Touchstone Gallery during the month of November 2017. “One House Project” idea was conceived by Art Watch DC, a group initially convened by Ellyn Weiss and Jackie Hoysted.

Each participating artist used a 12” square panel on which he or she commemorated an ancestor who came to this country — voluntarily or involuntarily. The installation demonstrates the power of visual communication to support values such as tolerance and inclusion, and resistance to the efforts to divide us by race, gender, sexual preference, class or region.

TFA is committed to supporting the arts in both our community and in underserved populations. We are honored to support this project, and we believe that we can make a difference together. Every little bit helps. Funds raised will be used to cover the following expenses: exhibition space, exhibition promotion and outreach, supporting materials.

DONATE $100 or more and receive a t-shirt with a unified collage design of all (or majority) of the artwork panel squares. T-Shirt Options: Women Short or Long Sleeve. Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large. Men Short or Long Sleeve. Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large. 100% Cotton, Imported; processed and printed in the USA.
